The Tutorial mode is made up of 3 missions. Campaign mode contains 7 missions (scenarios). Read carefully the mission objectives displayed at the beginning of each one to complete them (for example : protect a castle, escort a hero, conquer a city, etc.).

If you feel that you can no longer complete the mission you have been assigned, you can surrender and start again by pressing the Exit button and choosing Surrender. You will of course have to fully complete a mission to move to the next one. In Random Map mode, you first choose the difficulty of the level you want to play (easy, medium or hard).

Once the game starts you must build up your civilization from humble beginnings by harvesting resources, creating buildings and units and advancing technological age, in order to conquer your enemy. As the title of this gaming mode suggests, each time you launch a game in Random Map mode, a map will be randomly created, meaning that your initial location, the location of the enemy, and the placement and amount of resources available, will change each time you play.

Like in Campaign mode, you'll have the possibility of surrendering if you feel that the battle is going badly for you.
